When living in a city you often look past all of the remarkable things around you. Have you ever visited Savannah Ga and what was the most remarkable thing you have done or seen? I plan on doing all the things that are mentioned on here! So come back for updates!

I was in Savannah two Februarys ago - when we couldn't stand the cold anymore in New Jersey, we took off and drove down. I love that little town!! Remarkably easy to get around (gotta love that free shuttle); no obsessive need to tear down old and build new, so the city looks pretty much as it always has; and last, but not least, Paula Deen's "The Lady and Sons" restaurant - TO DIE FOR!!! Such pleasantries in general there, it was a wonderful break from the hustle, bustle and "in your face" nature of the Philly metro area. Can't wait to go back!!!

I forgot - the Juliet Lowe house (founder of the Girl Scouts) is there as well as the "Forest Gump" bench. Check out the restaurants and saloons along the waterfront, too. Great atmosphere, great seafood!! There's even an Irish Pub - I love old architecture!!
