How do you feel if you start a discussion and get no responces ?

gotta say it sucks to get no love. i think it's not personal, though. keep trying, find your niche, rock it.

Me, personally, doesn't affect me at all! But I myself try to respond to all my Mylot friends, but they don't send me any email notices anymore, when my friends start a new discussion! Ever since they did that change, I have no idea who starts a new discussion, until I have to go and search! I happened to find this one,missbdoll, by accident!

That has not happened to me yet, close to it but I have gotten at least a couple of responses. I am not good at starting discussions but I do try to respond to most of the ones I get from my friends.

Well, I may feel that no one is interested in my topic. I just hope that I can get a response sooner or later.

no big deal. everybody can't be interested in every discussion u start.

i start very few discussions. i just enjoy responding to things i am interested in. i don't figure too many people would resond to mine. i lead a pretty quiet life & don't think folks would care to hear about it. ...lol

Hi there missbdoll, Yeah i feel very sad when one of my discussions have no visitor.. So i decided to respond back every responder of mine, so that they will be happy as i am here. I will open the responder profile, and choose one of discussions to respond back. So we both are happy. Happy posting dear!!!

yes sometimes i get a bit dissappointed when i get no responses or just a few.i think where are all my friends.i have learnt that disscussions come and go so quickly that they are easily missed by my friends.cheers sue

missbdoll you know the old adage when you fall down, pick yourself up and start all over again. I have one discussion that never did get a response.but I did not give up just made a new one and tried to make it a quality response and I got fifteen on this so did more and got twenty so kepton going and got forty. you have to keep posting so your friends notice you and sooneror later you will be getting'lots of responses and then wishing you had more time to answer all those responses.

It does not make any impact on me. I think people have no answers that's why they are unable to give answers of those discussion.If people know about it they surely respond your discussion Another thing is notiing the discussion.Some time people who know the answer may not notice your discussion.There are thousands of discussion submitted on mylot everyday.So it is not possible for person to observe each discussion.

Indifferent, to be honest. But then, it depends why you're starting the discussion. Some of mine are rather specialist, niche questions, with links to articles I've written. I don't expect a short term response, but I have the market covered long-term. If you want to know about running Nethack on a Symbian OS-based machine, or technical specs for a Psion series 7, I've got your back ;) In amongst those I'll throw some 'reply bait', which are questions so general and easy to answer that people generally queue up to post.

I get dissapointed because I took the time and effort to post a disscussion. Dont think that it is personal. How do you feel about it missbdoll?
