This Discussion Will Help My Creepiness Status . . . How's Yours?

Black cats crossing my oath. It just freaks me out and I am beyond suoerstitious that someone a long time ago told me when a black cat walks in fron of me and crosses my path, i am supposed to spit three times. although unattractive, I am not taking any chances. Just tonight one walked in front of me and under my sisters car as we were heading towards it and we both stopped in our tracks, looked at eachother and just started spitting 3 times...lol... there have been time that we have been in the car already driving and a black cat would run across teh street in front of us and the entire csr would open their doors and just spit 3 times.

I don't care who you are 666 is a creepy number, post one more and you'll be clear of the stigma.

You have no idea how creepy this really is.......... I am on another social site and my number was the same, just now not kidding but finally got a friend to holler at me to change it...so hate that number! I just got my number changed on the other site, so I finally could leave the site.....went and checked my email just now and found your discussion same number situation............ I'm not too superstitious either but there are a few things, black cats and spilling salt that I am a bit leery of, LOL and the numbers

Wow, 666 discussions. Now the floor is moving in my house. Can you feel it? lol I'm not real excited when Friday the 13th rolls around. It does creep me out but I don't stay home and worry about it. It's just always been a "thing" of mine and a day when I pay close attention to the cat running underneath my feet or when I am driving.

Hello dear gtagirl. I have to say that I love the number 666 because in our culture, Chinese culture, 6 has the meaning of smooth in whatever you do. So triple six is great. I love it when I pass my number at mylot or some other places with the same number. I love everything smooth in my life and work. Thanks.

LOL, yep I can see where you would want to get rid of that creepy 666, congratulations for having so many posts on here, I have just started myself and find this very addictive so I am hoping that I will soon reach and pass that creepy number as well.

Funny post! I hear horrifying stories that involves third dimensionals, the sprits, white ladies, dwarves, ghost etc... I wonder where to find them and wanted to repeat ghost hunting with friends. I think this alleviates creepiness and sluggishness also. All the ghosts come out and creep on towards me. Anyways, plenty believes that there are ghosts, there are feng shui related events that will just happen unexpectedly. The black cats are bad omen. Making a wish when you see a falling star. Can you make a wish when there's a falling asteroid? Signing of cross when you will pass through a location close to a church. Thinking that there are really existense of supernaturals. Wish I have my third eye working! Christians are not doing anything nor eat during remembrance of Holy Week. But that's the height or peak of my watery-mouth and food craving and indulgence because I am just shut home. I can't be a good Christian ahahaha I also think that ghost doesn't like me either because I am not afraid of them. gtagirl, you are a great blogger. mmm interesting i'm not sure if i'm supersticious or not! 666 doesn't really bother me but i tend to walk round ladders rather than over them and feel disheartened if i break a mirror but i have a black cat who obviously passes my path constantly especially as she loves to sit on the stairs in the dark and trip me up little bugger. I believe in kharma and what goes around comes around so i guess i am a bit but only about certain things lol

Well, sure! When I was a little girl, I believed that the boogie-man lived under my bed. Probably cause my older brother told me that he did. So I would literally jump from my dresser to my bed (three foot space) so that he couldn't grab my legs and pull me down under the bed. Keep in mind this fear was from the mind of a five year old child who had never seen a horror movie a day in her life! As for superstitions, I say that I don't have any. But that's not true. I won't say or dial the numbers 666. Whoops! I just did it! Go figire!

Not to worry. You already have surpassed it. 667 and in the clear. lol I generally don't get creeped out by such things.

LOL! I felt the same way when I hit that number too! And, then when I hit 777 I felt good! LOL! I guess you could say I have some superstitions. I can't remember any of them but one right now. I knock on wood when I say something that might cause something bad to happen to me. For example, I can say this without knocking on wood because I have been in accidents. But, if I hadn't, and I was talking to someone about accidents, and I told them that I had never been in one, I would knock on wood to protect myself from that happening to me. I guess it is supposed to negate putting that potential drama into the cosmos and asking for or inviting trouble. LOL!

Oh, I do not think I'd let a number affect my feelings. It might have a funny little twinge when I see it, but the number itself isn't cursed. It is a number which Revelations tells us is supposed to be associated with the beast but that doesn't bean every instance of the number is associated with the beast. Hrm, I had even heard once that the number was somehow tied to Nero's name. Something about the letters of Nero's name and the Roman Numerals in which it was written. Can't quite recall all the details.

Superstitions are fun, and hey, it doesn't hurt if you're just an extra bit cautious. Sometimes not doing what is recommended might encourage someone you know to try and pull a prank on you in retaliation (I've heard of that happening before). Just as long as you don't obsess over every single superstition out there you'll be fine. :)
