How often do you call your parents?

I seldome call my parents, usually, once a month. We live in different provinces, after graduation, I work in another province, which is far away from my hometown. Now am I too independent? I always make some important decisions by myself. Or I don't love and care them very much? No, actually, I love and care them very much in my deep heart, I always think if someday they left me alone, how could I do? I could not accept that.
