amen????what does that mean?

i read that the word derives from amen-ra...the sun god of egypt.
what do you christians think of that?

Let it be so, that is my understanding of the word Amen! I usually use it after saying a prayer and am ending that prayer-sometimes I also use it to agree with I a point I so strongly approve.

AMEN means that you are in agreement to someone like saying yes or affirming someone that has a spiritual inclination or something that you agree with wherein God is attached to it, it is also used to end of a prayer.
Wikipedia says that "there is no academic support for this view." on the claims of sun god of egpyt. Nevertheless, if it is, so be it. :D
