I am a self employed Commerce Tuitor. I have spend lot of time in entertainment. If I am an employee in an organisation how can I spend in entertainment any time means Morning 9A.M to Evening 6P.M. Any employee spend his/her time every day? No, this facility is available in Self Employed duty only and also we get more satisfaction in this. Thankyou comment above......

I agree with you. because when you are working under somebody you dont get to holidays unless your superior gives you. and if you are sick and dont come to the office you lose your pay for that day.

I think it all depends on what you want in life. I mean if you are one of those people who values freedom more than security, you should be self-employed but if security is far more important for you, then it is better for you to be an employee. I mean, I think people should experience both, then you will appreciate what both sides have to offer. I mean, when I was an employee, it was great...at the end of every month, I knew I would have money in the bank. When I went out on a business trip, I knew that someone else would always pick up the tab. It was easy to take taxis everywhere because, well the company paid for it. However, the down side was I had to do just about everything that was thrust upon me by the company. At any time I would have to work on three or four projects. Now that I am self-employed, my income is uncertain. If I don't work, I don't eat. I also have to be more frugal with things like basic transport and entertainment because, well it comes out of my pocket. I also try to avoid trying to get sick because nobody else will pay for it. But having said that, I enjoy being self-employed because my mind has become more active. I have to constantly create business to stay alive and find ways to save money as well. I don't think I would make a very good employee again.
