One of My Discussion That Made It Into The Daily Digest - GONE? WHERE? WHY?

I had a discussion recently that many people respnded to and had fun with and I have just gone to go back in to do tongits numbers from it for those that missed out on Saturday and to mark best response and it is not there anymore. I apologise to all you guys that did respond. It was the where where I needed help choosing my numbers as lady luck had been shining recently. Well she can shine somewhere else other than myLot as I have had enough of them not responding to emails sent and deleting discussions in this manner without due cause. I take it it may have been a jealous mylotter, as there are so many people in the world that are petty like this. Well I'm off now for a while until I can think up a really good discussion idea of well lets see. What colour do yu prefer green of blue? LOL. Thats not me and never will be. I will answering any responses and discussion notifications that I have received but that its then. Any of my friends that want to stay in contact PM me with your email and I will mail you personally as also my PMs don't send. To make this into a discussion have any of you had discussions deleted for no reason? Ellie :D Huggles to all.

Oh Ellie, how ridiculous. I can understand myLot wanting to delete a discussion for one reason or another, but allowing to go into the daily digest first just seems stupid.
I'm really sorry that you feel it's time to move on for a while. I hope you'll be back.

Hi GreenMoo, I just need a break. I am sure I will be back at some stage. Sorry to hear about the chicken and the dog I haven't got round to responding on that one yet. Good luck with the farm. Hi P1kef1sh, I am too and a few that I already have in email from friends and going through all my unresolved to mark best responses and then I'm out of here for a while. What I can't understand is why myLot actually posted into the daily digest and then deleted eh! It was a fun discussion thats all and thats what I enjoyed, the F word is missing from so many peoples lives and mine and your discussions used to inject a fair amount of that most of the time even within the serious discussions eh! This sounds strange!
This is the not the first time I am hearing this. Its since I joined this place I have been hearing! Mylot needs to revise some of its rules majorly and urgently.

How can myLot rely just on reporting of the users in many cases which is simple whim!!
2. Shouldn't they give us notification justifying the deletion?
When any user gets banned or a discussion gets deleted, I think, it should be mylot's ethical responsibility to inform the user.
These are simple things which I feel they should look into more seriously. They just cannot afford to lose their reputation like this, can they?

This is sad! Your posts are funny, interesting, thoughtful..how can they delete it! Actually, you get reported and your discussion gets deleted - it works like this here. Once I got reported since I posted about my star and earnings, which is against myLot rules and someone had reported it. That's understandable. But yours is exemplary of how myLot is so much into personal whims!!
I am sorry that you are hoping to take a break. The loss would be of ours and of myLot. I will be missing you greatly.

Hi Mimipi, I alsoo feel that we should be informed when this happens too. You know how I am usually such a positive person and I enjoy having fun here but for me today the fun has gone out of it all so I will be taking a break and hopefully will come back refreshed. I cannot understand myself that a discussion that made it into the digest should be delted either. It would be great if these things were explained eh! I also feel so deeply for the people that responded and have lost posts and earnings from it too. I think the posts that ask what is is favourite something will still continue but I like to give fun informative discussions. Huggles Mimipi, I think I have your email address but if not will you PM it to me and we can stay in contact until I return. No point in emailing them and asking as I never get a response anyway. Oh Ellie I am so sorry that this has happened and I know how you feel as I have been there in the past and been so discouraged when mylot did not even have the common courtesy to respond to my many mails! I have your email and I don't plan to let you disappear but I do hope that you will not stay so discouraged as too many good members are feeling that way right now! LOL Ok well I did get a relaxing week in the highlands and I am still frazzled so I certainly understand! I think your discussions are great just as they are sweetheart so I wouldn't worry about it if I were you! I do agree though that we all need a little time to refresh as we do get mylot burnout! I haven't been on much myself but that is more about the school holidays and Niamh missing her brother! She is off to my sisters tomorrow so after Monday I should be back on a lot more - hope you are here then too! xxx

Hi Mummymo, I will be back but just need some time away to refresh really. I didn't get a week in the highlands relaxing LOL so feeling frazzled which is probably why I let this one get to me. Hi Mummymo, I just couldn't stay away myLot lured me back but I did get a fair amount done whilst not posting and feel refreshed again now. I forgot that Scotlands school holiddays are totally different to ours. We break up here on the 23rd of July and go back 3rd September. I bet your missing Niall too eh! I am lucky with my work as I have from 8th August off til September as the camp is on shut down, yippee, can't wait. Ellie :D

OK I'll admitt I joined the site some time ago but only really started looking at it yesterday, so I'm kind of confused. Maybe you can explain for me if the discussion you started that was deleted then how come I can still read it?
I guess I'm used to forums where when something is deleted it can't be found anymore. I was just going to read some of your responses and found the deleted discussion so I guess I have a lot to figure out about mylot.

OK so I decided to respond to the post. Posted a good luck wish to you on the discussion and it accepted the post. I hope if this is some freak thing it's allowing me to do you do get to read it, maybe they reinstated it? I don't know but well I read it, it reminded me I should be greatful for the blessings in my life even if times are rough, so I responded and it let me.
Thank you for the post though it was a reminder I needed maybe if they reinstated it you won't go?

Ahh, well thank you so much for taking the time to find an to read, I really appreciate that. I think if you had gone to respond to it it would have been then that it would have come up as a violation. Either that or myLot have been kind enough to reinstate it. Please don't let the way I am feeling at the moment affect you though. Keep posting, keep responding and most of all keep having FUN as it is the banter in discussions that I am going to miss for a while. Ellie :D

I haven't seen the discussion so it's hard for me to judge but if you haven't broken any guideliness it would be very frustrating to have your topic removed; I know I would feel bad especially if it got a lot of responses and people had fun with it. Things like this make people move away from mylot and thats a pity because theres so much fun in here too. I hope they make it up to you or at least come up with a valid reason why they removed it. All the best!

Hi Cyberfluf, Yes I agree people can have so much fun here. I always advice new people to keep posting, keep responding and most of all to have FUN with it. But my fun has gone for the moment and taking a break, I'm tired so perhaps thats why I am more upset over this than I usually would be but after a break for a wee bit I will hopefully come back refreshed. I have not had a discussion that was deleted go on the daily digest, but it has happened when others have a discussion, usually about money, that gets eliminated after being on the digest. It could be that someone put their personal link - i think you have to go to the profile page to find it or tell your friends that if anyone pms, you will send it - but it also could be that there may be an unspoken rule against giving lottery numbers, or helping those chose them.
Not all controversial or world shaking discussions get eliminated and all it takes is for someone to post his url plus his reference number in anyone of the discussions no matter how innocent it is.
It may not be the discussion at all, it may just be that someone who responded broke one of the myLot guidelines.

Why not write to myLot, there is a contact from on the mylot page or an email address ==and find out why it was deleted. That will save you from making the same mistake again if it is yours, and warning everyone if it is someone elses.

Hi Suspenseful now you mention it there was a guy that put some sort of post saying about here is a better way to make money and posted a link. The discussion I believe did just ask for one number from each person and the reason it was lucky to them. I might as well have put what is your favourite number with no fun and no discussion. I feel despondent about all this. Why don't myLot just deleted that one response rather than the whole discussions because things like this must be affecting everybody. Email myLot and get a response, haven't so far on anything I have ever questioned in the past so don't see me getting a response there either. This is one area that does need to be looked into eh! Bye for now. I will be back but after a break as I am so upset for all the good people who did respond and their points and earning being affected by it. Ellie :D

Good grief, they deleted that!? That is ridiculous. How in the world did that violate a guideline. They put it in the digest, so now I'm wondering if it is completely random in how we end up in it. I'll tell you one thing though. One time three of my discussions were in the one e-mail of the mylot digest. They were fun discussions, nothing serious. And I kid you not, my mylot rating went down two points right after. I think someone actually got jealous of that and decided I needed to be brought down a peg or two. Seriously, it has to be random how we end up in there. I mean some of the discussions I've seen in there have like two words, and I know mylot doesn't encourage that.
I'm sorry! I try never to post about things like what happened with my last digest experience, but someone needs to point out how ridiculous people can be. Sometimes if we contact mylot and debate with them why it was deleted, they will restore it. It is rare, but it can happen. Although I wouldn't blame you if you didn't want to mess with it.

I'm sorry Ellie. This happens too much to people who have done nothing wrong. You're the one who lost big, no one else. I mean yeah, people lost a post, but the money you got from the discussion was taken away from you, and that is the crime. It's hard enough to make anything here. I'm grateful, don't get me wrong, but it takes the fun out of stuff when someone decides to play the killjoy. I hope you can come back refreshed because mylot would not be the same without you.

Hi AmbiePam, Yes sorry they did delete that. I feel so hurt and upset especially to all the people that took part in the discussion and had fun with it. It takes all that away now doesn't it. That is awful that that happened to you after being in the digest. Perhaps it is jealousy that causes these people to do this as someone must have reported it for it to be delted surely. I will contact myLot to see if I get a reply. I am taking a break for a while now though as I need to refresh anyway, run out of topics LOL and don't want to post anything now that could get deleted again either. Huggles. Ellie :D

I am so sorry for that ellie but I am sure you will be able to come up again with another hit topic, you have plenty of friends here...I have experienced several deletions already but it was because, I violated some of the rules when I was just starting..It's my fault..LOL!Cheers and huggles too!

Hi Checapricorn, I just wish when they done this that they would at least give a reason why and this is especially strange as it had made it into the daily digest too. I know I have many friends here and I feel for all that participated in this discussion as it has now affected there posts and their earnings too and that hurts. So this usual happy fun lady has lost that for a while and is taking a break and hopefully will come back refreshed in a while. I am resolving all discussions not marked best response and a few notification emails that I still have to answer and ofcourse will still respond to anyone responding to any old discussions but that will be it for a while. It really does seem dumb that the discussion made it to the Daily Digest then get zapped...like Duh? But I might see the problem....I did see that discussion and maybe to the admin it was considered a game type of discussion which is against the rules. A whole bunch of us, including me, had started discussions...remember the list of ten things we would post of ourselves and state that seven were true and three were false and it was up to folks to try and figure which ones were false...well they all got zapped too..shame...it was kind of fun..mine was the first to be zapped...waaahhhhh

Hi Pyewacket oh I had so much fun with those ones and I in fact done very well in most with two out of three not being bad most times LOL. I didn't realise they had all gone too. How sad. dont worry, as u r only talking of few discussions, while i have two friends whoes all discussions were deleted rather every thing was deleted, with one of them i am in contact with email, is still wondering as what happened, as she left mylot foer few days in perfect condition and when she was back, u could not se any thing

You are kidding? I cannot believe that, why on earth would it get deleted there was nothing wrong with it. I am really sorry to hear it. To tell you the truth I am not sure if any of mine have been deleted, I expect they probably have been but I have never noticed yet! I will have to go through and mark best responses and then I will probably find out!

Oh, bummer - how crappy! I was just reading in another poll where someone had a discussion deleted, and I was wondering whether they send you a notification to say it's gone or whether you just happen to notice yourself. I was thinking I can't even remember the discussions I started, so I doubt I'd notice if they disappeared - hahahaa! Considering some of the discussions they allow, I can't see why they'd be unhappy about your lucky one - it was fun!

Hi Guybrush, no I just went in to do the numbers that were missed on Saturday to do today as promised and also to mark best response and gone, no notification or anything, considering it actually made it in to the digest I am quite upset. I am usually quite an upbeat person but this one has got to me considering as you say some of the posts that make it eh! I will be back but so angry right now need a break. Hi Ellie, I do know how you feel. I have seen a few of my discussions deleted and later I would be reading other peoples discussions that had been up for months. That made no sense and were looking similair to mine. Like one person who introduced a mylotter who was new. I did that and got deleted. But thiers stay up. So I'm not sure who or what or why. Makes no sense. But I have learened just to not worry so much about it and just keep posting. It doesnt really do any good to comaplain as you know. Have a wonderful day.

Hi Raydene, I know it does appear that it happens a lot, I was shocked that it had been in the digest and then got deleted more than anything. Taking a break from posting for a while and will come back refreshed. I think because I was tired it upset me more than it usually would have done. I am sorry to hear your discussion was deleted. I don't actually understand why myLot deletes discussions. Other than they think that a rule was violated, I guess.
But, I've never had one deleted that I know about. But, I guess it could happen. Sorry this is so frustrating.

games so if they used that far fetched critera that may be
why they deleted it. I dont think a mylotter could influence that much but am not really sure There are a lot of petty people here. ellie dont give up on us we are not all like that at all.

Hi Hatley, It wasn't a game though, people where just posting their lucky numbers and why they had chosen them but I suppose they could have used that one, but why post into the digest and then delete. Hatley, I am not giving up on you, I would miss you all too much, I have some wonderful friends on here and have even met two in real life, just taking a break for a while until I feel more positive again. As you know I am usually so upbeat and happy but tired at moment so I probably let it get to me more than usual. Ellie :D

My only discussion that got deleted was the eeine meeine one of guess what 3 things are true about me..guess we all got ours gone now so if those are considered games looks like fun is out unless we make it happen like my Lets have fun discussion..and i made sure to ask to make it a discussion..

Thanks thats just cheered me up. I will be back just taking a break for a while, I'm tired which is why it has got to me. I have just found out that all the guess which one is true ones have gone too which I didn't realise and I was having fun there too. Serious and sombre from now on, I don't think so, I think we need more huggle and brownie parties going on myself. I can receive PMs just not send them for some reason.
