Everyone likes something different so I don't think there are too many applications. However friends can really get carried away on invites!! Try writing on their walls "DON'T SEND ME APP INVITES"! Maybe they will get it :)

Some of the games and applications in facebook give you things like points, money etc in the game or application if you invite your friends, i play poker and i invite people to get more chips, that's probably why a lot of people invite you also.

Yes, I have often thought that there were to many applications to keep up with anything.

I don't like FaceBook. I have an account and never use it. There are definitely too many applications. But you can choose not to add them to your profile. FaceBook seems more like a place to play than a place to talk with friends. And that is just not my style.

I knew i wasn't the only one, yeah facebook has waaay to many applications its so annoying when you've been on there for about a week your profile is huuuge.
There are so many useless applications but many great ones, i wish they didn't all go on your profile its annoying when you have to scroll down all the way to the bottom to find someones 'Wall'
But overall its a great site.

I agree! It's terrible to visit a profile with tons of apps. It takes long to load a page like that even with a super high speed connection. Besides, there are hundreds of stupid quizzes and tests.

There is a way to not add them to your profile, but still be able to use them. You can uncheck that boxes that would display a box on your profile when you sign up. I gotta go back to Facebook and delete a few applications that I put on there that I don't like anymore. I know there's a way to do it as I've seen how to do it before. But, it seems hidden now.

I do think there is a lot of facebook applications and I agree that I hate the amount that get sent to me but, I also think the amount it has mean that loads of different people can enjoy it!
My husband just adds anything he gets which is really silly as then he ends up with loads of application but I just ignore loads and just add the ones I will use! x
