did you travel this past weekend? where did you go?

Nope, we stayed in town and had dinner with our kids. One daughter was out of town for the weekend and the other lives out of state so we had a bar-b-que with our middle daughter and her family. It was a long day so we didn't go see any firework displays. Instead we came home and crashed.

Yes, I traveled 5 hours on a bus ride to visit my parents in the province and I was shocked by the price increase of the bus fare which is 30% increase. Anyway I am still willing to travel at least once a month to visit my parents. Everything is affected with the world wide oil price hike except in the middle east -- according to the people there the price of drinking water is a lot expensive than the price of gas that's people there get to travel a lot within their country of course.

Yes, I did go away this past weekend. I went camping on the lake which is only about 20 minutes away from my house. It was a blast! The weather was fabulous. We sat on the beach and watched my daughter swim all day on Sunday. Just a nice relaxing weekend.

Good morning, Floridachick! I didn't do any traveling the past week end. I can't really afford to at the moment. I'm off work on medical leave and missing out on alot of money. But sitting at home and not working sure feels much better than working. So I'll try to make do.
