Don't Bring Oreo Cookies Into This House Ever Again!

Oh - For Heaven's Sake! My precious husband brought a package of Oreo Cookies home the other day. When he brought them into the house he told me, "I bought you your favorite".
I knew in an instant I would be sick in a few days because when it comes to Oreo Cookies - I'm a complete freak.
Well, needless to say, three days later, the cookies are all gone, along with a half gallon of milk. But you know what?
They were each and every one - completely delicious!
It's not like I binge on cookies very often and usually, I'm very disciplined when it comes to what we eat. Normally, we don't buy Oreos because of the simple fact - if we have them.......I'm gonna eat them.....LOL
And that's just what I did!Anybody else have an uncontrollable love for Oreos?

You would not have struck me as an Oreo cookie girl.
I thought more like a chocolate chip woman. 
I personally am not a cookie or rather a sweet person. and man oh man i don't like milk. I don't know if i have that kind of relationship with any one food. chips are my thing, but not so much so i have to eat them all.
i just think i ate that stuff so much when i was little i just can't stand it now!!

I have my weaknesses too momma. One of them is oreo cookies. Another one is well made Cheese Cake! YUM YUM...
(of which you can find in the cookbook) lol
My honey is the chocolate chip person in the family but for me - - - just give me a gallon of milk and a 45 Count package of Oreo Cookies........I'm set.
Course I'll be sick later - but - who the heck cares. We can't be perfect ALL the time.

hmm oreo cookies are fine...I am not like monster cookie in sesame streets lol but when it comes to crushed oreo cookies mixed with vanilla ice cream, that's something i can't let it go. I love it...especially on a hot summer like this, it's just perfect. But I try to keep it on moderation and not to gain to much calories

The exact reason I don't buy them either lily. If I have them, I'll eat them. They are the best......but then, there's always Pecan Sandies.....yumyum....

It's nice to remember the little kid inside us and give them treats like oreos and milk. Brings a smile to face everytime..........

Only when it is in ice cream! I love cookies 'n cream ice cream and I make it homemade. I use oreo cookies as the cookies obviously and I pack them in cause boy they are good and made even better since it is homemade. If you ever had bluebell's cookies n' cream ice cream it is just a bit better than that but it is the closest ice cream I can compare it with.
That is how I "binge" on Oreos!

I bet it's good roxanne. I've had Blue Bell, delicious. My favorite is Rocky Road. My honey likes Chocolate Chip. I'm gonna have to look for Cookie's n Cream though.

I like Oreos but I would not binge and eat the whole carton I don't think. I do like them when they are dipped in milk as it makes them really soft that way. Oreos have really gone up in price so I only buy them when they are on sale now.

This story had me racking up. Oreo's are indeed awesome. This kind of thing happens in my family with all sorts of snacks, lol. 'If you aren't quick, you don't get any' is the joke around here. It's usually me who ends up eating most of the Oreo's because not everyone likes them the same way I do.

It sounds like your husband should be hiding them from you and giving them to you one little foil wrapped package at a time. You can't go over the top and eat them all if you don't know where they are and if you really like them then there isn't any reason to deprive yourself completely.

If I know the things are in the house - trust me - I'll find them.......I never met a cookie I didn't like.
If my husband ever thought he could hide anything from me,,,'specially Oreo cookies,,,,,he's got another think coming....lol

I love those well meant gifts! 
My guy bought me oreos and wedding cookies when I was feeling poorly and wanted something sweet. I think I gained three pounds that week!

yeah and I have to have them with milk. cookies are a weakness. I do not keep them in the house very much.

No. My weakness is Ben & Jerry's ice cream. I think I should work as a taste tester for them. LOL.
