Those who are bookworms can get good scores and good marks in the school, colleges but when they enter the real life i.e. the real world of employment then book worm dosent have a good future. I have seen many people like these who cannot make good in their practical scales. So it is my advice to all the students that dont go for remembering the things, go for learning, knowing the things. Be practical instead of bookworm.

Yea i completely agree with you that book-worms are not able to have successful life ...by bookworm i mean that they should be able to handle life as well as be more practical in their approach to the life..they shouldnt be stuck within one bounds..limited to the nature such that they forget the world around them...what i mean to say is that they should be more practical in their approach to life..

Hi,you have rightly pointed out that bookworms are not practical in life. They are having only knowledge but don not know how to use that one. Thanks for response and good luck.

Well, I consider myself a "bookworm". I love to read - fiction and non-fiction. I read for pleasure as well as business. I read just about anything actualy... I also consider myself a successful CPA, mother, wife, friend...

By bookworm you mean someone who's devoted to their studies/field of expertise? Then you're wrong, those people are more likely to succeed. The rest, if they are successful, they are just lucky. It's not the fact that they are studying that makes them likely to succeed though, it's the fact that they are devoting themselves to their education/work. If persons who have a job that involves no theory (ie: a cafe owner, a chef, etc.) devote themselves to their work, then they will also be more likely to succeed. Of course, this also depends on your definition of success.

yes bookworms definitely have the knowledge, but most of them do not know how to apply them in day to day life. Most competitive exams are won by people who are average, than bookworms.
