There are movies, and there are movies that rock. I'm a big movie fan, and there are certain films, that, although they're not very good, they have an excellent soundtrack! One of them is Flashdance, which is a kind of corny story but the ST is just amazing. Another one is "School of Rock", I like the movie but love the songs! Of course I can't forget to mention "Grease" and "Saturday Night Fever". Oh, and "Jesus Super Star", but i'm talking about no-musicals films. Which films do you think have great soundtracks?

'Grease' is a definante for me. I love the movie. 'Sound of Music' sorry, but I love classics. All three Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Biased there. 'Sweeney Todd' - I can follow along some and feel like I'm not off key. 'Lord of the Rings' - that was a great soundtrack. 'The Corpse Bride' - don't ask me why, I like the music.

So you're a big Tim Burton & Johnny Depp fan! I'm watching Sweeney Todd tonight on DVD. I'm not into Lord of the Rings, but I quite like Enya.

'Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat' is the one for me. Great tracks that get your feet tapping. Especially the 'colours' track and Pharoe's song which is a take on Elvis. I haven't seen the film of 'Mama Mia' yet but if the film is as good as the stage show then that will be a great ABBA revival.

I've never heard of that film before! It sounds quite interesting, i'll try to get it. The thing is, I want to leave musicals out of the question, since they all have wonderful sountracks, I'm just talking about regular films.

Magnolia has a really great soundtrack. The songs are from an awesome singer named Aimee Mann. Her voice and lyrics set the tone for the movie perfectly. And Star Wars has a great score by John Williams. And I can't forget Hans Zimmer's amazing score from Thelma & Louise.
