windows vista is an excellent operating system with new various new features. i like windows vista very much. you can not install windows vista on your system until your system fulfill the minimum requirement of RAM. windows vista requires your system has minimum 300 MB of RAM. i am using windows vista basic from 5-6 months and its good operating system. i have not faced any problem while using this operating system.

Would you believe I was able to install and run Windows XP on a classic Pentium 100 with only 64 MB of RAM. Can I use this system with other application like ms office, Of course I did not because the mere boot up is such a drag. Running OS at its minimum requirement will be totally useless, the same thing with Vista.

I installd vista few month ago then switch back to xp, my system is intel due 2 core with 4gb ram,but after instal vista i felt some games runing slow, because huge ram and proceses eat vista, and i also heard some people claimed that vista creat some bad sectors in thier hardisk cause of vista heavy system, but i dont face this kind of problem, but i can say its slow down ur pc and also many softwares not support vista at the moment,

I am currently running Vista with no problems it is quite stable right now for me. I also have 2gig of Ram which is more than enough memory. If you remember when XP came out nobody wanted to upgrade at first due to problems so same with vista. I personally dont normally upgrade until the first service pack comes out and sp1 is out now for Vista

Like any window releases since Windows 3.1 it has a corresponding PC specs to run the OS and its application properly and efficiently. Vista naturally has a recommended system requirement and going below this specification will adversely affect its performance. If you want to try a new OS then do it the right way, do it where it is originally designed specifications.

Yep i really think that vista need to be operated at very high RAM as i think it is very slow operating system and need to be installed with the more RAM rather than the low one. This operating system is not that much compatible as that of the XP.It also find great problem in running some of the softwares and the games in it so i really think it needs to be rebuilt again.

Vista does need lots of RAM.Better stick to XP for atleast a year.Vista needs to stabalize itself.Too many errors etc.Plus their is one bonus feature on vista...that is you can use your pen drive or any flash device as ram.Just plug in and it acts as ram.
