Window cleaners, how noisy do they have to be?!

This afternoon I was sat here at my computer, watching the clock till I went out. I suddenly became aware of a bumping noise, and voices. I immediately thought "OMG WHAT IS THAT?!" peering around the corner to find it was a couple of window cleaners, makes me wonder what on earth they were doing to make such a ridiculous amount of bumping noise! And then they knock on the stupid door saying they couldn't get round the back! I was thinking, dont want you round there watching me, so just told them I was going out and they left a card saying my parents owed them £10! They only did 4 little windows... Im not saying all window cleaners are like this, our usual ones are nice and no bother! It just really annoyed me! Anyone else have noisy window cleaners?! share your opinions on them too!
