Do you reply to the responses to your discussions immediately if you are still online, or do you wait for a few hours or a day?

I respond immediately while the idea that came to my mind and made me start the discussion in the first place is still fresh in my mind. If I wait I might not be on the same wavelength. If I am about to leave my computer then I wouldn't start one but I would wait until I got back on again.
What do you do?

I try to respond immediately myself, but then I started thinking that if I waited until the next day there might be more responses to the discussion. Guess it doesnt work like that....lol Thanks for responding !
