Yes finally Nicole has had a baby and a little girl! This is wonderful news for them both.....but they have named her "Sunday" and ar first I thought it was because the baby was born on a Sunday, but not so, she was born on a Monday. I am not sure about this name just yet and have not heard of a child being called this. Do you know of anyone called "Sunday"? This could be the start of another new name for society to choose!

Personally I think it is cruel to give children these sorts of names, I just hope the she is not going to be a sensitive child because children can be for such things..

It is cruel when naming a child with unusual names lilaclady as we have seen with some over the years. The Media start by making a joke of some names and then it goes on from there! Hopefully this will not happen here but unfortunately the parents who do choose these names sometimes may not realise what could become of it!

yes I know, I was a very shy kid and I can remember a song we had to learn at school that had my name it and I hated having to sing that song, I think when my name came up I am sure my face would go red...kids can feel things like this...

We can be tormented by other children very early in lfe lilaclady as I experienced with my name and as most had your everyday name no-one had heard of mine and I really had to just learn to live with it. To this day I do not like it! Very sad really!

I don't understand why people give their children such odd names. The good thing to know is that when the children are of age they can always change it if they so choose. Or perhaps a nickname would be good too.

Her middle name is Rose, Elusive, and I think it is a much prettier name so maybe she will choose this one as you say later in life.

i just don't get what these people are thinking when they name their baby. i wonder if they do it on purpose. it seems the ones that have babies get more attention if they give their baby a wacky name. like jason lee. he names his son pilot inspector. isn't that nuts? i feel bad for these kids having to grow up with the names their parents give them. i would think school would be hard enough then to have a name like that is just not very thoughtful.

Nicole and Keith have chosen an unusual name (Sunday) for their new baby daughter - but what is worse, is that the baby's second name is Rose. You can imagine what she's going to get called when she starts school? Sunday Roast! I don't think they have thought this one through, have they?

Congratulations to Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban on the birth of their little baby daughter. I know that she Nicole wanted a pregnancy very much indeed so she must be delighted to have become a mother at last. I don't know anyone called Sunday but I know that movie stars often chose unusual names for their children. I have noticed that new name trends often start with someone famous. My friend Dawn was born in the evening time. I have heard of April and May as names but not currently any of the days of the week.

Apparently the baby was named after a famous artist's muse. I read in the paper this morning that Nicole's parents had suggested it. I hate the way everyone jumps in to criticise when someone names a baby - surely it's their choice, and nobody else's business? I don't personally know anyone called Sunday - but I've heard far worse names lately, that's for sure - and you're right, I'm betting the name gains popularity now pretty quickly!
