all of us hope to be on the top discussion list... but a few of us are able to acheive that dream... so i was wondering... do you respond the discussions that are on the top disucssion list? or go for the discussions with little or no responses, or just reply to your friend's discussions...

If there are discussions that I am interested in responding to there, then I will of course respond to them. It does not matter if they are on my Friends list or not. I feel if the person was lucky enough to get listed in the Top discussion list, they deserve a chance to be responded back too as well.

First of all, I always go to discuss the post with no respon. I get the post that grab my attention. The top discussions is not always top posting, I think. It also depend on who post it. Do you agree?

Usually I will reply to posts and topics in my friends list first. They are my friends cos they share the same or similar interests as me. That is why we became friends in the first place. Then when I clear my list, I will look at the top discussion list. If the topic interests me, then it is posting time. Else, I just go to some of my other regular forums to chat a little with my other cliche of friends.

You really are feeling great today Raclie. As long as the discussion interest me and I have something to comment then it doesn't matter for me where that discussion is. Though top discussion has too many responders its kinda very lengthy one to read most of the time I just end up reading them as my idea is already taken.

I answer all my friends discussions first hoping they will do the same. Then I go to new discussions or no responses and help them out.

I myself just look for good topics that i can really get into and talk about a fair bit and comment in them, so ill take a look in all the dicussion sections, ive taken part in a lot of 'New Discissions' so far today though.

I don't respond to discussions because of where they are, I respond to discussion because of what they are. If a discussion is interesting to me, I will respond to it, if not, I won't. I have all of my friends (and there are over 1,000) with their notifications on, so I get so much MyLot e-mail that I don't need to check the top discussions.

I normally start with friends' discussions.Apart from this ,as soon as I open the page, if there is some discussion that arrests my attention because I would be able to write at least three or four sentences, then I would pick this up.The basic criteria is that I should write at least something decent and readeable. If I do not find anything on a particular day then I go to new user. But , normally something or the other will pop within my eyesight because I have my time restrictions in making responses.

Nope I have all kinds of ways I look for discussions here, and really do not care if I make the top discussions list or not. Mostly because I do not start that many discussions.
