Hi everyone, I know I have been missing in action lately. My life is going through a bunch of changs right now, plus put summer in there and busy, busy that is me. My car died, so , I had to figure out how to get a new one. It was very frustrating because I did not have the money. My taxes had not come in when I exspected them too. Found out they were sent to the wrong address and had to be sent out again. Well right after my car went down, I was offered a new much better job. But I had to have a car, go figure. More frustration, so I finaly asked a family member to loan me the money, I did not want to loose the opportunity for the new job. Well wouldn't you know it, my taxes came so I did not have to borrow, thank goodness. Plus my family finaly put to rest the family estate, it has taken ten years to completely clean that house out. What a chore. So for the family ,the start of a new era. My younger sister is buying the house, so the property stays in the family. I was very happy about that. I am still in this transition faze, I have a bit of a vaction between jobs, I start the new one next week. I have to wonder, if any of you have had that happen, where life seems to be going along just fine, and whamo, bamo. Your whole world changes, like for me. A new car, a new job. It is all kinda of frustrating yet exciting at the same time. Life sure can surprise you at times, don't you think?

Oh I agree with you.
Exactly four years ago my mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She had retired 30 days before so she was in the process of getting her own insurance when she was diagnosed. Never sick a day in her life. Insurance DENIED because they said it was a pre-existing condition, even though she didnt' know she had it. Luckily she found doctors who tried to operate - never received a bill , no use too far gone, and a doctor who was going to get her chemo treatment covered at 100%.
Well, my mom passed away three months later because she didn't want to continue a life in pain, etc. I fully understand.
It hit me the hardest!!! Man did I learn secrets after she passed away. No yes BAM, life sure can come and knock you on your butt!!!
Great discussion. Thanks for starting.

Thanks for the response Lynn, things are getting better. I started the new job and like it very much. Still no set schedule yet. So not real secure it will provide me with the finances I need, but it should. I found a real nice car, used , but it is paid for. I was able to get my car insurance reduced by a considerable amount as well, so life is very busy, but I am sure things will be just fine once I feel more secure about the new job.
