i already posted this discussion before but anywayz, for me either of the two, the girl or boy coz if you feel like your relationship will not work out anymore, it doesnt matter if the guy or girl will initiate break ups..

for me both have the rght to express there feeling.relationship must come in a two way...both must be in love to keep the relationship.whats the point to stay in a relationship if ur any of the couple is not happy. definately it will brreak my heart if my bf will goin to break me up..but i dont mind and i will let him go.coz i love him and whatever that will makes him happy i will give it to him

BOth has the right to do so.. But also not both have the equal rights, as guys are supposed to be more generous and more forgiving in a relationship.. BUt still, when it comes to a time whereby a break up is a must, either one party can initiate it as long as it's th best solution for both of them ^_^

Anybody can do it. I think if you no longer want a relationship with a person you should be honest with them and tell them straight away. It's no good staying in a partnership that's going nowhere - it's not healthy for either of you. I think both the girl and the boy have as much right to break up if they feel so inclined.

Both have it. I don't know whether you are talking about friends or husband and wife. Because in case of husband and wife where wife is not financially independent ( as some are in our part of the world) definitely husband holds the authority most of the time which is unfortunate. But otherwise, in relationships, it is a mutual thing. Both are equal.

The only time anyone has a authority over anyone is in the marriage arangment and than the husband is the head of the household. Once married, divorce shouldn't be an option unless one spouse cheats on the other (Matt 19:9) (Mal 2:16)
In just the dating part, whoever loses intrest or realises they are not in love with the person they are with should initiate the breakup to avoid leading someone on and causing any more heartbreak than nessacary.
