Diablo II is the best game ever. If you haven't already wasted half of your life playing it, now is the time to start. Another good game is Hellgate London but I can;t get past how they don't have LAN multiplayer. I can't play it over the internet (I could if I had a better internet connection...) and so I can't really experience the best part. You probably can though. I hate the digital divide.

Lol well as Halo 3 and CoD4 taught us, its always better to play together. And as far as Diablo " goes ive played it a bit at my friends house and really enjoyed it. Hellgate london looks good too. I'll consider both.

Hellgate London is just like Diablo with full 3D and a completely different control scheme. You get experience, when you level up you can learn skills, you defeat hordes of undead and demonic minions, you grab as much loot as possible... in fact, most of the team that developed Hellgate London are former Blizzard employees that worked on Diablo. The big difference comes in with the classes where you can play the game like a first person shooter and you learn skills like crouching to increase accuracy and damage or a skill which lets you throw granades at enemies. It is awesome but, as it is with Diablo, it just isn't as magical if you can't play it with a few friends so that you have someone to blame if you die.

Well I've seen a review about it on G4 and your response motivated me. Looks like I'll put this on my to-buy list, oh and about how many people play this game online? what is the online gameplay like and how crowded are the servers (if any). Thanks for your suggestions and more will be appreciated!

I would say either the Half-Life series or the Diablo Series. My suggestion, if you can only get one game, would be to Read up on the first half life game and then buy Half-Life 2. The same suggestion would go for Diablo. Though admittedly, I am about to die waiting for Diablo 3!

What you should buy is also dependant on what your computer is capable of. I think Oblivion is one of the best games out right now, but if you have a 6 year old machine, it's just not going to work for you. If you're looking for a good game to play online with lots of people I would recommend Neverwinter Nights (the original, not the sequel). It's pretty cheap since it's been out for a long time and the online play is completely free once you own the game.

It's called Bubble Bobble or something like that. I found it on addictinggames.com. I can play it all day.

Duke Nukem 3D!! Not only was it the most comical game I have ever played but it set the frontier for FPS gaming. Although it put Doom to shame and was quickly shamed by Quake, it was perhaps the first game of it's time to ever bring up controversy and add a kick to the genre!
