Is there a God? Men do things for God? Men do things because of God?

For God's sake, let's believe in ourselves first. We do things for ourselves. And we do things because of ourselves. From there, we will know that we are accountable. We are responsible for our doings. Doing good deeds beget good deeds and vice versa. Good deeds will be rewarded. Good deeds bring out positive actions, results, peace of mind and happiness. On the other hand, bad deeds will be punished. Bad deeds bring out negative actions, results, a disturbed mind and sufferings. This is the Universal Law or Law of Nature. If we believe in this, we will understand life better and will look forward to do more good deeds.

yeah it would be awesome if people could remove the rules of their exact religion and concentrate on the universal laws first..

Totally agreed with your statement. However it would be difficult for them because of the fear for God. What they are doing now is for God and not for themselves. If there is any good things happening to them, they would praise the lord. On the other hand, if something bad happened, they will blame the devil. They don't blame themselves. So they are absolved from responsibility and guilt. How do we change their mindset?

well i dont fully believe in the devil (i say fully because i was raised and brain washed to believe in him etc from a strict religious home and i guess because i was raised that way i think there could be a 0.01% he exist lol) i blame bad things on the person or karma paying them back for whatever

I believe in evil spirits. There are spirits everywhere aroud us. However they can't disturb us because they are rank lower than humans. Humans can't see or feel the spirits although some people can because of some extraordinary powers in them or some extraodinary situations. In general, we are superior to spirits/ghost. Some are good and some are bad spirits. You mentioned Karma. Karma is an accumulation of our past actions (good and bad). Past Karma will affect the outcome of our present lives. Past Karma can be acumulations of actions from past lives. If we have been doing good deeds, we should not be afraid. Instead we will understand life even better. Our level of understanding will be heightened. Our current actions are within our control. Having said that, however, the results/consequences affecting our life is affected by our Karma. We may be the most intelligent person and yet we cannot become the President of the country. A president is not necessary the most intelligent person. It is a person Karma. Let me know if you have more questio. I will be glad to answer. Thank you for your discussion.

I believe that there is a God, Supreme Being, or whatever you call Him. How else would you explain creation or the universe? Who drafted the universal laws?
Yes, we are accountable for our doings; but I don't think that the earth or the universe just happen to exist. There's got to be someone who created all this...
