How do you measure success?
Are you successful when you have a very expensive car?
Are you successful when you own a luxurious house and lot?
Are you successful when you have traveled the globe?
Are you successful when your bank account exceeds to six digits?
People in general measures success by wealth acquired, carriers established, dreams materialized, positions achieved...
Are you part of the general? Do you measure success on this standards?

You are successful when you are happy, and at peace with the way your life is going. To me, money and luxurious belongings don't mean success at all - in fact, I often look at people who have it and can only see unhappy people who are still trying to gain even more and who have a desperate desire for people to admire them. I'm never impressed by wealth or flashy things - in fact, the older I get the more I want to downsize everything. Smaller house, smaller car and less clutter in general.

No i don't, every time i look at my children and see productive well-adjusted adults i feel that i have succeeded, each time i see one of my preteens do a kind deed for someone, i know that i am succeeding. Having good family relationships mean i am succeeding. Money can't measure success because it is not going to make you happy.

Hi
I think success in life can be measured by measuring how content and happy you are with your life, How satisfied you are with your life, How healthy you are, and How do others think and care about you etc. In my opinion Bank account with a number of digits can not make your life successful. Offcourse money is needed in life but it is not the only measure for success in life.
