Does anyone else get upset when your star number drops?

this is one topic i had started before and i think i've learned from it. i also had a 9 for almost a week and now it is back to 8. but i am not bothered anymore. what we should think about is our earnings, how we can make it grow each and every day that we do mylotting. negative rates given to us do not totally bring our ratings down in a flash. one more reason we get lower is when some discussions where we got the positive rates were deleted, that is according to some members...

I do get upset when my star rating goes down but when I see that low star rating for a while, I kinda get used to the idea that, well, I can't please everyone. I'll just let it be like that and then eventually get happy when my star rating goes back up again. I guess that's the myLot life.

Not really. I was up to 6 but I steps on some toes and put a few people in their place and they apparently didn't like it too much cause my ratings dropped quickly down two notches. It is a good thing I didn't come here for ratings or money cause I'm not making much of either. At the rate I'm going I might reach payout in 6 months but I enjoy the conversation and I can express myself so I'm not worried too much about it.

I do get upset at first. But I find it a challenge for me to keep posting quality responses and topics. So far, my star has been steady and hasn't dropped for a month now. I really don't care if it drops or if it adds. I'll just keep on doing my stuffs here. I'll move on. And do my best on my next activities here. Happy postings. HUGZ!

well, for me a little upset when i know that my star number drops. but i am very curious about it. why did this happen since those days i almost spent same time on mylot, posting and discussion. anyway, it will not affect my feeling for a long time.

My ratings are reaaaaaaaaaaaaally sluggish in moving up. Ever since I had reached 100 posts, I'm stuck on to this 9, nothing more, nothing less. The rating was 86/100 back then, which crept up to 92/100 recently. But then, I had responded to some discussions angrily, as the contents had made me mad. Immediately I lost one rating point and was down to 91/100, something which had not happened to me ever before. I was really sad for this for a while, thinking of the number of months I'll have to wait before it regains the original value. But thanks to whoever did it, I'm back to being 92/100. Now I can again wait for the ratings to increase. I'll really be happy the day I see a 10 star beside my avatar.

Hi! So far so good my 9 star doesn't go down. Maybe because I am active everyday. I don't know what the reason behind that maybe there are some members who really active than you in the interest you joined with. But If my star drops, I don't mind..the important here is I'm earning and making friends with a lot of people here. I am enjoying every moment, maybe that's important.Keep on posting and good luck.

Well my first star was 7, then 8, then 9 then back to 8! I thought, oh I dropped? Oh well...then I quickly went back to 9 and now 10 and I've been at ten ever since. I don't let star rating bother me but I got to admit the red star matches my avatar and the ten star just looks so neat!

no, it not bother me at all.. oooops i forget, i dont have a star yet hehe.. but honestly, i can understand why you be little upset about it and disheartened.
