I know, I know, it's been discussed...a lot...referrals?

Hey guys, thanks for clicking my topic. I know the information is around but it apparantly doesn't want me to find it! Haha. So here goes- Some of you (who I sent the link to before it 'went public' after my ReviewStream topic) know I'm working on a money making website of my own, with programs that I use and trust and would recommend to others. The link is in my profile, have a quick peek if you want though it's not quite finished and I need to add a bunch more reviews & content I know.. :) One of the links I have on there is my referral for FreebieJeebies for a laptop I'm sort of in need of. I need around 22 referrals to get the item, and I would have chose something else if I didn't honestly need the computer for my senior school year, next year. * don't let this message cause you to think I'm seeking referrals from member here because I'm not. Having you guys to talk to and become friends with and learn from is quite enough :) * Anyway, I've been giving out the link and my site link to people, posting it various places, etc. and to no avail. I'm still at 0 referrals, after nearly 3 weeks. How can I get more? I've tried getref, didn't like their system all that much although good site. I saw something about renting a referral, can that work for this sort of deal too? I really appreciate any advice ya got! :)
