Which is the best Free Anti Virus Software ? Do You have any Advice ?

I use Avira AntiVir Free. I used AVG and I heard that Avast! is also a wonderful program. Avira AntiVir is my personal favorite. It detected more than other other free anti virus I have used. well friend i belive , antivirus and antispyware cannot help you alone of not getting virus you need a good firewall because 98% most of virus and spyware get termenated at firewall end. download online armor (firewall) and run it in default mode For antivirus download avira its best + free + very light For antispyware download adware 2008 it is one of best yea you have to download 3 programs but they worth downloading and all of them very light on resources and act like a security suite or you can buy security suite like kaspersky norton ..etc

They say Symantec and Mcafee are both uses too much system resources, so they tend to slow down computers especially those lower to middle end ones. I use Avast free, so far so good. Coupled with spyware blaster and adaware for anti-spyware and anti-rootkit protection. You can try either Avast, Avira or Bitdefender. Go to www.download.com and read user reviews.

All Free Anti-virus is good but better went it been purchased. I'm using AVG Anti-Virus(License). If you one please add me as your friend and send me a notice messages.

The best free Anti virus software I used to run in my machine in AVG but the free version had certain limitations. So, I could not continue to use it.

i usually use NORTON ANTI VIRUS.but i've got problem right now. i use win xp sp2 but conflict with norton anti virus. i'm a little bit a confused now.

free hhm if you wanna pay I'm sure you can take norton but free i don'y know free antivirus programms aren't realy good

Like said before, Norton is good, with updates happening often, it's agood way. You should also get a firewall. Other than that, you can get something for free, from Hotmail or Yahoo's toolbars. Though you definitely get what you pay for.
