I'm from Malaysia but am currently living in Switzerland. It's not my first time abroad - I have travelled overseas many times and stayed in Sydney for nearly two years. Still, being in Europe as an expat is different and eye-opening in so many ways.
I encourage people to travel and exposure yourself to different communities and different cultures. You don't have to stay there very long, just be open-minded! :)

The thing about the world today is the fact that one ends up becoming a part of many countries or rather many countries can play a role in making a person. It's not like in the old days when borders were stricter, people didn't move beyond certain boundaries and things seemed easier to define.
In my case, I hold a Singapore passport and I have served my national service in the Singapore military. As such, I am a "true blue" Singaporean. But Singapore, like America and increasingly like many parts of the world is hard to define because we are mixture of many cultures.
Ethnically, I am Chinese, Cantonese. So, this means that as well as being a Singaporean and Singapore, China - particularly Guangdong or Canton Province has had a role in forming who I am today.
However, I have never been to China and I was not educated in Singapore. I was educated in the United Kingdome - the South of England to be exact. I was a student in a boarding school from the ages of 13 - 19 and then I spent my mid-twenties at the University of London. Given the formative years I have spent in the UK, I have British influences and many of my mannerisms are more British than Asian.
These days, I also work allot with people from Saudi Arabia and India. I even feel very comfortable eating with my hands. One Indian girl told me that I was probably an Indian national in my previous life. My speech patterns also include a few Arabic phrases from time to time.
So, as you can see that quite a few countries have made me who I am today and I think that in a few more years, I shall be seeing more countries and cultures influence my life.

Dear friend,
I am from India and here we have various kinds of cultures and languages. India is a mix of varies of religions, caste, languages so on. There are more 50 various types of languages here having more 60 tribes with various culture and languages. Most of ancient languages is vanishing is verge of elimination. India is also very beautiful in its natural beauty and ancient monuments also can be see. Another most negative part is its corruption and poverty. In this I respect most of Western countries.
