how can you tell if a guy is interested in you?

can you tell me some signs to see if a guy is interested in you or not? i must admit i'm hopeless when it comes to reading the signs that other people send, especially those coming from men. there are several instances wherein my friends tell me that they think someone likes me but i would tell them differently because i don't notice the so-called signs. because of this, i get to hurt other people's feelings. please help me.

Well with many guys I've noticed they take interest in something you love. My fiance now never listened to the music I did and when we were friends he would tell me just leave it there thats a cool punk song. I would be ecstatic. Lol. My fiance also when we were friends never would look me in the eyes he would but it would be for like 2 seconds. When I speak to someone I always look them in the eyes! Well when I wasnt looking at him he would be looking at me. I would catch him all the time. It was adorable.

If I like a girl I'll usually try to get to know her a little at first and maintain CONSTANT eye contact. I say if he treats you like a friend he likes you. If he picks on you a little for stuff you do that might be another sign. Besides, why would you want a guy that's a kiss-asser all the time?
