Here's some tips on finding coupons here in the U.S.
Most of us know that the Sunday Newspaper is the best source of finding coupons. So, personally, I subscribe to the Sunday paper just to make sure I get at least 1 set of inserts. But, also ask your neighbors, friends, co-workers, etc to give you any coupons they don't use.
However, you should also train yourself to look for coupons while shopping. You will often find "blinkies" (the ones in the dispensers that have the little light blinking), tear pads (on shelfs or displays that you tear off), "peelies" (coupons that you peel off of product) and often other coupon booklets that you may find near their sales flyers or other display stands throughout the store. Just because you aren't buying the product right now doesn't mean that you may not want to next time. I will get them and then wait for the sale.
In addition, you may want to consider subscribing to WalMart's All You magazine as it has more coupons than any magazine I've ever seen. You can subscribe on their website, pick up a copy in Walmart, or order it through school fundraisers that often happen right at the beginning of the school year.
Also, considering joining a coupon group on yahoo in order to trade coupons you don't want for coupons you do want.
You'd be amazed at how much you can save. I regularly save about $500 a month between coupons and sales for my family of 4.
