Cooking in a hurry!!!!

I dont know why is it so? That whenever i make dishes in a hurry, it tastes so good that it takes no more time to finish. This happens to me all the time whenever my friends or relatives call me in short time that they are coming to do dinner and i have to make it, then any dish i cook, it taste wonderful whereas when i make dishes very calmly it taste good but not much good.
Does this happen to you?

I can't comment on the cooking part, but when you look at life on a whole the example keeps recurring. I guess life is full of expectancies and you can't help it but just live with it. Most often, it happens the same way. When one is lonely he/she has no friends and when the same person is in a group, people literally come to you for friendship. Same happens with opportunities, when you want it the most there nothing and you feel helpless. But when you've got what you always wanted, the same or still lucrative opportunities come your way and you can't grasp it. It's like luck is knocking on the rich man's door and the poor man is praying for luck.
This is life! What say?
