no I could never carry a child and then hand it over to anyone, and as good hearted as I am I just could not carry a child for anyone other than me.

I don't even want to have my own children let alone someone else's. I don't want any part of my body "rented out."

I would love to say that i had the strength and patience and the selflessness to give someone a gift like that Mom but i am afraid that apart from not having had good pregnancies and not being fit enough to do that I don't think I would be able to cope with giving away a child I had carried and nurtured and then given birth to! xxx

Hi friends,
You know I'm past the age now, but I have had three children of my own. I absolutely loved being pregnant. I never felt so healthy in my life.
I am sure it is very hard to hand it over in the end, but not being able to have a child must be heart breaking.
I think if I could still have kids, I would do it. Not for the money, just because I loved being pregnant. That truly is a gift.

raydene no I could not do that as after nine months that
baby would be mine,no matter what, and it would kill
me to give away my baby no matter what. I admire those
women who are selfless and do help others by carrying a baby
for them for nine months. I just could not do that myself
no way.

I know a woman who has done this twice, actually she just gave birth not to long ago to twins. It is one of the most selfless acts I can ever fathom doing as a woman. I have nothing but complete respect and admiration for her. If my life were different I wouldn't have a problem doing it myself but medically I wouldn't be able to.

I would do this (being a surrogate NOT putting my child up for adoption), not just for the money but for the satisfaction of helping someone become a parent. I love being a mom. I loved being pregnant as well. I have 2 kids. And, it's not like you are having a kid and just handing it over. The baby is in no way a part of you. I think this is wonderful.

Hi raydene! I have heard a lot of women doing this but I don't think I can do such a thing. I have nothing against them but I guess, I am not the kind of person who have that strength to give away the baby I carried for nine months in my womb. There are a lot of women who can't carry babies in their wombs and these women who are willing to carry it for them (for a price )is still admirable somehow.
Take care and God Bless!

I could not do it, but I know someone who is presently a surrogate mother. She has also sold her eggs and has pictures of the children that were born from them. I guess she loves doing it and helping those that can't have their own children.
