I have to admit I love baking and making cookies and things in that such, Yesterday I wanted cookies so I went ahead and made some.. But i did one thing though I melted my butter until it was bubbling lol and than right after not even thinking I adding the chocolate chips in, So of course I had melted them in with the peanut butter cookie mix... It turns out that I had Chocolate peanut butter cookies they were pretty tasty too.. Have you ever done that by accident or just did it for more taste?

I am just curious why you were melting the butter for your cookies. I have never made cookies with melted butter before.
I made some cookies a few months ago that I did not put enough flour in. The kids were distracting me and I didn't realize that I had not added the last cup of flour. They turned out ok, but not the texture I was used to. My son said they were the best chocolate chip cookies he had ever tasted.

It just makes it easier to mix and not to mention when using the measuring cup yeah i do measure it as a liquid to 1/2 cup which what it asks for.. I think they turn out alot softer.. I mean I haven't ever had one batch of hard cookies while doing it this way but of course you need I cup total I have been doing this sense the day I started baking cookies and that was with my grandmother when I was 12 years old... ha ha last winter every other weekend I was making cookies that's how fast they were eaten my husband loved them cause they were soft and not hard...

I had gotten this recipe from recipes.com they are called awesome peanut butter cookies of course it don't say anything about adding any peanut butter chips or anything like that in them but I do always... Everyone loves them so i just kept the recipe and when we want them i make them instead of buying them, I do find that alot cheaper as well..

oh yes for sure.. It maybe a tad bit sweeter but that's what the milk is for to dip in so it's not.. I love baking cookies and pie and things like that.. Gives me something to do when i am extreamly bored at home.. Thanks for your reply!

Oh wow. That's so cool! Haha. I tend to either botch the entire recipe if I do stuff like that. I have to try that sometime though. Most of the time when I change the recipe, it's for the taste: making things sweeter, less chocolate, stuff like that. :]

That's what I do too. However I didn't mean to melt them on purpose lol but a little melted chocolate never hurts a person unless of course they aren't suppose to eat it.. Thanks for your reply!

I can't think of any mistakes I've ever made while bakig, bu the one that you made sounds like a really good idea. I will have to try that one day. It sounds like it would be really really good. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll definitely try ha one day and then come back here and tell everyone how it turns out.

This actually sounds really good to me. I like chocolate and peanutbutter together, so blended in a cookie~yum.
I also like to bake. After halloween, I made up a batch of cookie dough and wrapped it around a bunch of different mini candy bars that my kids got for halloween. they turned out great!
