I just saw a story on ABCNEWS.COM that got my blood boiling! Some gas stations have been charging more per gallon if you pay at the pump with a credit card. It has been reported that some of these stations have added an additional $0.08 to $0.50 per gallon when you swipe your credit card! And the kicker is, they were not even making the consumers aware that they were doing this?!? Now that they are busted they have to display the price per gallon for both cash and charge. I would like to know what is going to be done to compensate the consumers that have been ripped off by these despicable con artists! Is anyone else as heated about this as I am? How long has this been going on? Has anyone out there or anyone you know been a victim of this scam?

I think gas should cost the same no matter what method you use to pay.If you are lucky enough to have a credit card you will probably buy more gas, that is just wrong to charge them more for paying differently and I think anyone who was ripped off should be reimbursed their money.have a great day.

Well it does cost a business a percentage to process the credit card so I can understand. On the other hand, they should tell people that they are doing it, that is only right. I guess businesses are doing what they can to make a profit.
