As I was wondering in my other discussion about the top 5 tv-shows, I'm now curious to the top 5 of movies of you mylotters. In my opinion, it's a bit harder to mention movies instead of tv-shows.. Feel free to mention your top 5 of movies. Anyway here's mine:
1) Lord of the Rings
2) The Notebook
3) Pirates of the Caribean
4) Alpha Dog
5) King Arthur
So what's yours? Greetz.

yeah the lion king is the number one video because it changed my life forever.
and 10k bc is really good, although the end is disappointing, but definately worth watching :3 I love the plot myself as well as the animation for the animals there. and it's actually mostly in english :D

Whew, this is rather hard to answer. But I must admit that I wasn't able to reply to your previous discussion about the top 5 tv shows. I guess you wouldn't mind if I answer these both here.
Top five favorite movies for me are:
The Sound of Music
Cast Away
Charlie's Angels 1, 2 & 3
Shaolin Soccer
Kung Fu Hustle
Top five favorite tv shows for me are:
CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) - New Yok and Miami
X-files
Martha Stewart Living (and other cooking shows on Food Network)
Rated K (local show hosted by Ms. Korina Sanchez)
Mel & Joey (local show hosted by Ms. Mel Tiangco & Mr. Joey De Leon)
I prefer watching movies on VCDs or DVDs. It's not only being cost-effective especially now that theater tickets cost at least a hundred pesos locally or more than two dollars; but also, you could watch it over and over again at your own pace. I must admit that I'm the type of person who doesn't get contented with watching a movie only once. I just can't seem to grasp the whole story of the movie if I only watch it once.
For instance, there are movies which I keep watching again and again because I really like them. You might find this funny but in all honesty, the last movie I've watched in a theaterhouse was "Cast Away" featuring Tom Hanks. I watched this with my husband about more than six years ago.

Haha, you really can see that the two top 5's are a "male vs female" top 5. Both nice tops though. Thanks for your reply.
