I used IE exclusively until a Microsoft update a month ago disabled it both at work and at home. I downloaded Firefox and like its stability and speed. Unfortunately I downloaded Firefox 3 which isn't compatible with Realplayer's video download feature.
I also have Safari, which I don't like at all.

Hi and Welcome to MyLot!
For most of my posting and everyday work I use Opera. It was the first browser that I found when I decided I didn't like Internet Explorer anymore. I found that IE would crash alot on me and drove me nuts. lol I also use Firefox which I really like but all my bookmarks are on Opera and I've been too lazy to move them over.
Have a great day,
Char
:-)

I'm using firefox. I started using it because of the tabbed browsing, as I didn't want to have so many IE windows cluttered on my taskbar. Although now IE7 has tabbed browsing, but I'm still sticking to firefox:)

I have installed 3 different browsers. I use them in different ways though. I often use IE to browse the Internet daily because it's convenient enough. And I use FireFox to access to the foreign websites because FireFox tend to be faster and more stable than IE. The 3rd one is Mexton which you probably don't know. I seldom use it now. It's there just in case the other 2 can not be used.

I use opera and firefox. i rarely use IE.
Internet explorer is the least secure browser.
my default browser is opera. Opera has every thing in it INBUILT. we don't need to download any addons unlike firefox. OPERA has a download manager, bit torrent client, and every thing you need to browse the net safely.
it has the best appearance among all the browsers.

Good morning, dear alkurishy. I used to Internet Explorer a lot, but now I have changed to use Mozilla Firefox, which offers a better service. I love Mozilla Firefox very much. I have been using it for more than three months up till now. At the very beginning, I was not used to it, but as time goes on, I am getting used to it and start to love it so much. I think that it is the best browser that I have ever used. Good day, friend.

Firefox. It's free, open-source, you don't have to worry about spyware, popups (which was really annoying when i was still using Internet Explorer way back when it was still on version 5). With firefox, there's a lot of plugins and been using firefox when it was still on beta stage.

I have Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer and Opera installed on my PC, But I prefer Firefox, for a lot of reason. One is, Firefox features the all-too-familiar tabbed browsing feature. No more opening multiple browser windows, eating up your precious RAM and slowing down everything on your computer. While a more recent Explorer version can provide the same feature, Firefox pioneered the idea and there is a definite difference in feel when using tabs in Firefox as opposed to Explorer.
Also a very important topic amongst those interested in browsers is that of security. Most studies show Firefox as marginally better in this field as well even though Internet Explorer had years of a head start. This has been partially associated with the way in which Explorer is tied into the operating system while Firefox is a completely independent application.
Add-ons are a popular browser feature that enables enhancements to be made to browser by users. Well Firefox does anyway. Internet Explorer is notoriously hard to code add-ons for while Mozilla even provides help in doing so on their website. They welcome users who add functionality to the browser and a much wider range of applications are available, doing everything from music playing to game downloads.
Finally, a feature of Firefox exists that is not really a part of the browser on a whole, but is rather a modified version made by users called Firefox Portable. This application allows you to take your browser, along with its history and bookmarks, with you everywhere on a USB Flash Drive.

Definitely the Firefox for me.
I only use the Internet Explorer for sites that somehow cannot function optimally without this browser.
I like Firefox for its speed, stability and extensions!!

I like to Mozilla because I don't have to open many windows. Besides, it has a very important plug-in which I like. It's called "delicious". You can bookmark your favorite links to "delicious" and you can login it from another computer. That's so convenient. It's just like you carry your bookmarks wherever you go. I will use IE when some websites don't support Firefox.
I love China

I used to use Internet Explorer when my parents first got the internet even though I hated it because it was slow, and it caused my parents computer to get a virus,my brother had us download Firefox and it is great,it is faster, and you can have multiple tabs up at once, because helps improve accuracy and how much I can get done by at least fifty percent.

i definitely prefer firefox, one of the main reasons is.. i tend to have many browsers open, for email, and other sites i am involved with, of which i use regular on a daily basis..
With firefox You have a choice, either new window if want more like IE or new tab so i can have all sites within the same window so only need to flick between them.. Far more easier :)))
The other thing, when explorer would crash or you had to restart the computer, you would loose all your sites..
But with firefox the session is saved :D
At the moment in this window i have along top.. shareapic, youtube, mylot, blogger, gmail... :)))
Firefox is far better then IE without a doubt and has many plug-ins you can add to it.
