Do you scream on your kids in puplic?

good day.. I'll give him the eye and deal with him at home. Parents are obliged to teach their children the proper ways of life and not embarrass them in public. If a parent does that, and the child would get used to this kind of embarrassment then all the morals/lessons you're teaching them will go down the drain. If unfortunately they become immune to public humiliation they would also become impervious to your discipline.

Hi alkurishy, I have no kids and will share my experienced only..My Mom and Dad never hit nor shout me in public even when I was a kid...And I guess, it's not even ideal to do it with the child. It will always give a negative impact to them and they might develop hatred since they are being put into shame! talking to them or explaining to them will be a good idea...That is why it is necessary to be spending a lot time with the kids telling them the expectation we have for them.. I have a friend who will just secretly pinch her kid when he will start to be naughty in public..LOL! and when he start crying, My friend will just ignore the kid, sometimes it works and most of the time, it will be more worst..LOL!

I don't have kids, but I do hae parents. My father would yell at us anywhere, and hat was not a good thing. My mother is much more respectful. She is not one to yell, and if she is upset about somthing, she will talk to the person in priate, never embarasing the person in public.

I don't think kids should get screamed at, but if they're being bad the children should be told that they need to be better. If you wait until you get home they won't remember why they are in trouble.

Hello alkurishy, I don't believe in punishing children public its not nice to see mother shouting and smacking them, any they shouldn't smack them no I don't like to see children punish in public. Tamarafireheart.

Actually, i don't have kids right now. I Have parents who care and love me very much,they never scream or yell at me anywhere,so i am the luckiest person in the world. I just got home the day before yesterday from almost 1200km. When i was at the airport, i saw my parents who were waiting for me,it was really touched me. Now i am on holiday nearly 2 months,so being with family is the best thing !

It is according to what they are doing, if it is dangerous, such as running out in front of a car in the parking lot, i will yell at them in public and have been known to swat their little bottom so that they remembered not to do it again.

No way! That's too scary for the children. They'll get traumatize. Besides, I hate shouting in public and doing nasty things in public. hahahaha

sometimes i am alarmed they way some parents yell and talk rough with their children in public. makes you wonder how bad the parents are at home. i sometimes wonder if there is abuse going on. i can understand some situations, the parents are worn ragged from lively children misbehaving. i can understand if sometimes the parents only being human will snap at their children. but often it seems the parent who is talking rough is not correcting, or warning, but abusive. i am extremely uncomfortable and want to get away and then i feel bad for the kids. some of the kids. some kids behave terribly bad.
