what is your unanswered question in life?

Hi Friends, I think most of us might have questions in life that have not been answered yet, or a question which answers haven't satisfied our curiosity. For some people our questions might mean nothing, but I know that our questions do mean something for ourselves.
And yes, I have several questions in life and I take them as "being unanswered" even when many people tried to suggest a proper answer.
I have various questions from heavy to light ... but I would start by a light one as example here.
So one of my questions I have is ... "Why such awful creatures like roaches, flies, and mosquitoes have to exist in this world? I don't know if they really have good contributions to this earth. So why they have to be here on earth???"
How about you? Do you have any unanswered question?

I have a million unanswered questions in my life but none of them are about bugs. The bugs are here to balance the world. The birds need the bugs for food, for one thing. My questions in life are much more serious than that. Like why are people so mean? Or why do people drive crazy enough to get into accidents that could have been avoided? Or what is my purpose of being alive? Or why do bad things happen to me? Or why can't I meet some good friends offline in the new city I live in? Or why did God put me on this earth?

My question has always been why are people so self-centered? Most of the people with religion have been taught to think of others, genetically (for survival of the race) it makes sense to promote other people as well as ourselves, and socially we are alienated when we are selfish. Yet many of us continue to only care about ourselves. It just doesn't make sense to me.

well, I think it is because they don't know what's the point of living a life. about why they have to meet the people surrounds them. religions taught us to be blessing for another / the others, but some people do avoid religion things and that explains a bit about why their mind set are the opposite.
but honestly, when problems come, usually someone would think about himself / herself first, the trigger is that the worries come, and if the person has really forgotten that other people can experience the impacts of bad things surrounding them, the person would mostly take himself / herself as the most affected one in the situation and then the self-centered thinking and act would come out as the result.
moreover, if the selfish thinking has rooted from the early age, the person would become more easily to think that way more and more. so, basically, the environment, the way the person being raised up back then, and the society behavior during the person's current and previous phase of life would trigger all these things up.

My question is "Why do most of the Indian politicians think abt themselves first n then (if possible)work for the development of the country?"
On the other hand, the answer to the above question is,
"these creatures r really needed to maintain a balance in the ecosystem, for they roaches/flies help to decompose some matter while they also become a prey for some other creatures(birds for ex.)"

I think it happens everywhere not only in India. my country's politicians are just the same, I believe even super power countries' politicians are also the same, thinking about themselves first.
most people like them, when they have gotten high position, they forget about the others. I think this is somekind of moral disease that common people have when they have seen / experienced luxury or lots of facilities and then they want to keep it forever because they don't want to lose what they have now.
sadly, there are very few politicians (or high class society) that still remember about the lower class society's needs. some triggers are needed to wake them up, if these things can wake them up. otherwise, only a bottom rock experience would be able to wake them up.
thanks for answering my light question about the roaches kind of creatures. I'm just curious because these creatures are really annoying. I do know that some animals enjoyed eating mosquitoes and flies, but I didn't even know if any other creatures did want roaches as meal. :P
