NOBODY HAS EVER SEEN THEM IN REAL LIFE SO WHY IS IT THAT THEY ONLY COME OUT IN CARTOONS? Kinda scary now that you think of it! I MEAN THEY ONLY MAKE THEIR MUSIC VIDEOS AS CARTOON CHARACTERS! I REALLY WONDER WHAT THE GORILLAZ LOOK LIKE IN REAL LIFE!

Gorillaz is known for including a number of guest stars in their music, so it'd be pretty easy to see who's behind the respective cartoon character that way. Anyway, if you're really curious you can check out a concert and see Damon Albarn's shadow when he's singing.

Yea I would like to know too. They are such a good group and I wonder why they want their identities hidden. Maybe they'll eventually show their faces like kiss did or something. There has to be some way that they'll be seen.

I have The singer 2D is Damon Albarn and the rest of the group has been played by various other people. All the animation was done by Jamie Hewlett. I don't think you need to see real people as the whole point of the group is that it is a project rather than a serious band.

I saw them in concert several years ago and it was a really cool, unique performance. And the character likenesses are not too far off from the actual band members. I've been a Damon Albarn fan for years with his work in Blur, The Good The Bad and The Queen, and various solo projects he's done. There was a point in the concert when I could see Damon up on the balcony looking at the crowd. Very cool. I'm definitely ready for them to come out with another album. They haven't let me down yet!

Well I know Damon Albarn, singer from Blur is the brain of Gorillaz and also the singer. But if Damon is the one who coordinates everything and also the one who sings, I don't think that there may exist the concept of "band" with members. I just think that a lot of people participate in the albums, but I don't think that may be the same always. But I'm not sure though. It's just an idea of what happens in this cases where all the project is made by one person.
