What kind of cellphones do you prefer, cheap, durable one or expensive, good looking and well-equipped one? As for me, I prefer cheap, durable one. As long as it can make and answer calls, send and receive text messages, it is enough for me. As to the brand, Nokia and Motorola are my favourite. They are solid. I dropped my Nikia many times and every time I picked it up it still works excellently.
But my husband obviously doesn't think so. He likes good looking and well-equipped cellphones. He would like the cellphone to act as a phone, as a camera and even as a computer. It much support handwritting. And it is better ... Oh, My! Of course, this kind of cellphone won't be cheap. And after a lot of research, he chose one--- Sony Ericsson P990i. It cost me several thousand. And actually, after we bought it, he was crazy about it for not more than two weeks and now he just uses it to make or answer calls, not even send text messages. What a shame! It is such a waste.
So, what kind do you guys prefer?

Since I got interested in texting and am away from home alot, I have selected a cell phone that gives me internet access and a typewriter keyboard. It is more expensive but I still consider it worthwhile because it is so handy. I don't have as much trouble with losing cellphones as I do with them breaking. It doesn't matter if the phone is in my pocket or a case clipped to my belt, the phone always manages to fall to the ground. My current phone, a T-Mobile Wing, seems to be fairly durable and very convenient.

I prefer a cheap, durable one. I use 6670 of NOKIA I bought two years before. The system of it can support many good games which were published by GAMELOFT,excited. It is not very expensive that is most important reason that I buy it. I don't like expensive one. When I use it,I am in fear of dorpping it,you now it's very expensive. It's not easy.

That's right. For most people when they have an expensive phone, they will get cautious very time they use their phone or go out with the phone. This is because life for most people is not easy. My husband is in fear of dropping it or being stolen every time he goes out with his phone. Ha, he looks so funny that time!

It depends on your intentions of using a cellphone.
I too using it for making and receiving calls only, so a simple cellphone will do.
Although my Nokia has a few other uses, like taking photos, videos, recording... but I seldom use them.

And in fact, those others uses apart from the basic ones are not professional at all.

i agree with you because like you, i prefer the cheap durable one.. it's because the new features are not important for me.. I only use my cellphone for emergency purposes only, so what's the use of having the expensive one...also, with the fast developing technology, there are plenty of gadgets available in the market that satisfies me more than a cellphone could.. and another thing.. almost every week, new models are produced.. so i will regret buying the latest one because there will be better ones produced week after week...

Yep. There are new models nearly every week. It is funny that just one week after my husband bought his one, the sonny errison company produced another model which is more powerful and more expensive. And just one month later, the price of my husband's model had dropped one thousand!
