My grandma (whose only 58, shes a youngin, my moms only 39) She did for quite some time. The guy actually had a good excuse to be in their (we got all the newspaper clippings on him) a man had raped and beaten his daughter and he was a security escort for famous people, im sorry any father would go after a man who would do something like that to his daughter. He got in trouble though because the boy was a minor, but does that make the boys crime right? who should have been the real one behind bars? A man trying to stop a kid who would have hurt more young girls and parents daughters?

i dunno why anyone would want to make new friends in prison. i dont see a problem writing to friends and loved ones that are inmates though.

No I never have and never would. They are in there being punished for a reason and I don't believe they should be allowed this luxury. Keep in touch with existing friends yes, but make new ones, no, it puts the public at risk.
