I am sometimes, when I was in college we had annual assesment exams and tests. So I used to prefer to wear my particular blue colured dress ,hoping to crack the question paper on time. So this belief of mine continued whenever any major events were to happen. whether it is my first date or interview, I preferred my blue dress. Since I can no longer fit into my old dress I have chosen a new blue dress for all my lucky ventures :)
Are you like me?

this might sound funny as you read, I never used to keep my book open if I have to go out for a while, thinking that texts would fly off :)

My friend actually has a funny belief of not putting hair gel when he has an exam. HE believes that hair gel somewhat clogs his brain. SO far he has passed all his exams without putting hair gel. As for me I always eat chocolate before an exam just to jumpstart my brain. I believe that chocolate does wonders for my brain.

Yeah, I'm very superstitious and I don't like it. Every time I do something I can't stop thinking about it because I'm afraid of some things and connect it to superstitions. I want to stop being superstitious but I can't help myself. I can also connect my being obsessive compulsive on being so superstitious. I read somewhere that this is a disorder, but if its really true I hope its not serious disorder.

I seem to recall this being attributed to some sports star, I can't remember who though. "It's not whether the rabbit foo tcharm can help you win the match, it's whether you believe the rabbit foot charm can help you win the match"
I think we all have a set of rituals that we do to improve our confidence before some big event. Not everyone calls it being superstitious, but the reasons behind those actions are pretty much the same.
