Arrgh they are so cool

Ok I never thought i would like asian music but one day my korean friend showed me the music video "Last Farewell" which must be only the coolest music video i have ever seen! I luv G-Dragon he's so cute~! Anyway then i listened to "Lies" and "Fool" and they are cool as well... :) Unfortunately the only other good song by them (Well its actually just a remix so not really by them) is "This Love" but i still think they are one of the best band/group ever, definitely the best asian musician types people~! Does anyone else think so or am I the only non asian that likes Big Bang? Are they popular in Korea/asia at all??

Opinions I suppose? Big Bang is my favourite Korean group and my favourite song by them is Haru Haru (translation is Day By Day). Did you try that song? (I think at the point of you writing the discussion, no, because the song has yet to be released. If you're still interested in Big Bang now, give it a try?)
I'm an Asian living in Asia (Singapore to be exact, FYI that's in Southeast Asia) and Big Bang is plenty popular here, though I must say the SM groups (SHINee, Girls Generation, Super Junior etc) are more popular. Anyway, Big Bang has a solid fanbase here - you should see how fast the Alive Tour tickets for the Singapore stop sold out! It was literally a ticket war. And Big Bang's the top male group in Korea (in terms of general popularity - other groups like Super Junior and TVXQ may sell more albums, but Big Bang's music is more widely played and appeals to more age groups than the other 2 groups mentioned). So yeah, Big Bang is popular... Like POPULAR.

I believe that they're popular all over the world!
They even have English version for most of their songs and their Englist is not bad, compared to other korean stars.
My faves are Daesung and Seungri, however, I adore GD for his talent in making music since his solo project HeartBreaker was a hit!

big bang is very popular across asia and also Australia. Im not sure about the USA, most probably yes. I am korean and i love most korean music, big bang being one of them. I know many Vietnamese people liking Big Bang as well... and for white people... nope. none. zit.

I'm 0% asian and I only listen to korean, japanese and chinese music, mostly korean. Big bang is one of my two favorite groups. Actually, I love every single song from them not just the ones you cited. They're juste awesome, in every aspect: They look good, they sound amazing...
My favorite member is also G-Dragon, since he released his "Heartbreaker" MV on Youtube. I love his original, crazy style. I wouldn't wear half of his clothes, but I still love how he looks good in litterally anything!
