It is a small device that you plug into your computer and then you can plug your telephone into it.
They are giving out a free 30 day trial ending today. If I didn't have such a great plan at home, I think this is what I would be using. Hubby works for the local cable company, so we do VOIP for a reduced rate.
Magic Jack's website states:Free Local and Long Distance
Free Directory Assistance
Free Phone Number - with the option to port your existing number in the future
Free Call Waiting
Free Voice Mail
Free Caller ID
The website is http://www.magicjack.com/4/index.asp.
Doe anyone have this? Looking for reviews (pro or con). Thanks.

I really don't know. It looks kinda of cool. I wonder if you could use it via wifi if you are at a cyber cafe?
Thanks for the response.

Hi,
I have MJ installed on my MAC and it's an amazing device.
The jack itself is about the size of 2 packs of gum and plugs into a USB port. I use a cordless phone connected to it. Vonage is $25 a month but MJ is $2 a YEAR!!!!
Hope this helps,
Tom
