Whats debug?

I have a message constantly in the computer to debug something but it doesnt even make the debug at all and then it close all windows i have open! What is debug? What is this for?

from the knowledge I have related to programming, it surely is to "track something out" or checking issues... What is evident is that whatever is causing the computer to show that message, there has to be some error or something that the computer needs to check or fix.
