there is not anything wrong with that. He is still young. And he is just not ready for that step in his life yet. And probably just waiting for the write one. His time will come.

Maybe he is not interested in making love with a girl. Maybe he doesn't go that way and he does not want to tell you straight out. If he is not telling you don't push it. He will come around him self. There is not much you should do but just be there for him if he wants to talk. Don't be pushy , I think that is wrong.

virgin at 22 is fine! if he doesn't want to he doesn't have to! It's their own personal decision, you should respect that and not judge him just because you "can't believe that"

Sounds to me like a decent lad who isnt going to be pressured into doing something by his friends or just because other people do it. I admire him for placing value on himself and prospective partners. If and when he decides to give up his virginity, is nothing to do with anyone else - except himself and the person he gives it up for. Why would you think he was joking? Its not compulsory at any age.
