How to put a profile photo?

I need help. I can't find any help on hoe to put a photo in my profile. please put down the instructions on how to. As you can see I don't photo right now. thanks

On the left of the screen you will find : start a new discussion add ... send .... customize ...... edit your preferences sign out Go to (edit your preferences) you can change your avatar with any photo you like. I hope that can help you, have a good day.

I have no idea either. I tried go to "photos" and figuring out something there but I dont think thats where you can get a picture up of yourself or something you like. If you get anywhere with this, comment me and tell me because Im lost aswell. Thanks.
