It seems as hard as I try I just cannot lose weight. It's getting to be quite discouraging. I look at myself and I am not happy at all with what I see. And it makes it worse because I really do try and yet nothing happens. I have had all the blood work done at the doctor and everything comes out fine so I should not be having such problems taking weight off. Anyone have any diet tips or exercise tips that have helped them?

first off, what makes you think you r over weight?second of all losing weight is dependant on a set of different rules, for instance, how well is your body metabalism?some people can eat very little and gain a lot, while others can do the opposite!with the diet thing first off stop calling it a diet call it a life style change, more vegees and whole wheat,no white bread, avoid fructous in your food these are hunger enablers, and can make u creave more food even if you are already full!give you new lifestyle change real chance, just try to do it one day at a time don't think too far ahead!set little short term goals you know you can reach then try to reach them one day at a time!make today no sugar day or no white bread day,etc...most people by the way lie to themselves, they drink diet drinks in the day time in front of everybody then when they are alone at home etc, then can clean out an entire all you can eat buffet,i am not saying this you,but i am saying do a check list of what you eat all day in a book, times you eat, what you ate,etc..be totally honest with yourself, don't or this won't work

I am the type that I hardly eat. I am quite active as I have a 7 year old son so we are always playing, and when I am not running after him I am running after my sisters 1 and a half year old. I am in no way trying to be a size 4, I know that that is just not possible for my build. I drink water, keep active, and eat right and yet the weight does not come off. People tell me I look ok that I am a little over weight but that I look fine. But their opinions do not matter, its how I look to myself and I do not like what I see.

I would consider a thorough health check up if I am doing my utmost following a professional dietitian advice and doing the right exercise and I am not going down on weight. I found that eating in small portions and frequently and going for an hour walk daily helped me in going down my weight.
