The Craziest Thing You've Gotten Ice Cream For

So every Thursday I volunteer at a local animal adoption center. On Thursdays, the center gets in a dog from a local shelter, and I dog sit for the day and educate the public about shelter dogs and adoption as well as try to find the dog a good home.
Well, the dog we had in today ended up being a bit aggressive, and he ended up biting me. The shelter had to file a report with Animal Control, and it was this whole big thing.
The owners of the adoption center felt bad for me, so they bought me ice cream as an apology. I was pretty amused by that.
So I'm wondering, have you ever been rewarded with ice cream for doing something crazy or having to go through some sort of crazy ordeal? Share your stories!

When I was in third grade my brother and I played soccer. One day his practice ran later than mine and I was watching from the sidelines. On the field behind me a bunch of military guys were playing tackle football. I didn't realize how close to the field I was and I got tackled. They felt so bad that they bought my ice cream to make up for it.
