Well as you all know our dear Cynical friend is getting hitched this friday which is tommorrow. Yay her. But getting to this alter has been one thing after another. LOL!!! First her dad and step mom weren't coming now they are and we're supposed to be in on wensday but are supposed to be in today about 4pm. Not sure if they made it in. Haven't called .. LOL!! I was over there earlier helping her prepare and get ready with the food for tomorrow. Also the gazebo in central park had a horried red white and blue banner and the vagrants were making her rethink things .. But her loving Squire made sure to make some phone calls and get the vagrants and the horrid sign taken care of. Yay Squire .. So my bestfriend is a very stressed bride ... But none the less tomorrow all must go perfect no matter who's head I have to break off the pavement for her. He He He He. Yep I will hurt someone if they mess up her day. So do you have any wedding calamaties that I can share with our lovely and beautiful bride tomorrow to help her be less stressed and give her a laugh before she walks down the aisle?
Thanks ahead of time and I will when monday of next week comes print this out for her to keep.

gods i hope all goes smoothly and without a hitch for cyn & squire. my first wedding (as well as the marriage itself) was a complete disaster. not ONE thing was the way it had been planned to be.. my dress was practically destroyed by the seamstress doing the alterations.. my fathers carriage broke and delayed us by over an hour.. the ride TO the ceremony in said now mickeymoused together carriage took longer than expected (2 HOURS!!) delaying us further.. along with the horses being attacked by a couple german shepards along the way while their drunken owner sat on his porch doing a*whistle whistle* here boys.. no no (my father had to restrain me as i tried to vault out of the carriage and thump the idiot in the skull) my father in his infinite wisdom had decided to paint the carriage recently, leaving black paint on my dress in places further ruining it.. the ceremony itself was a joke.. the justice of the peace refused to allow my father to give me away and ordered him to sit down before the ceremony began.. i had specifically requested a NON religious ceremony and the moron started reading poetry and quotes from the bible.. he reminded me of the little demon preacher from beetlejuice, to this day i cant watch that movie without having flashbacks. the ride over to the reception hall.. again the carriage was falling apart.. and the horses spooked on the highway overpass and wouldnt move so my father had to walk them across.. causing yep.. another delay! then came the reception.. the hall was all in the wrong colors, from the balloons and tablecloths.. to the cake itself. id specifically instructed the woman doing the cake NO bells NO bride and groom toppers.. what was on the cake? BELLS! the fountain was broken and didnt work, and shed put some green coloring into the water.. so it reflected making the cake look moldy (how appetizing!) i also failed to mention the night befores scramble to buy cds and find music because my grandmother never bothered to give the dj our playlist so he had no music at all!! she didnt like our choice of tunes, so she sabotagued it purposefully.. she also had him keep the volume so low, that no one was dancing at all ..;sighs;.. said grandmother also decided to accost me during my sposed dance with my father so i missed half of that as well.. and then again in the bathroom when i was changing out of the dress into something more party-able and had me backed up against the wall about to backhand me when a friend of mine walked in and interupted her. in tears my friend then dragged me out into the parkinglot and proceeded to shake me and slap me a few times (literally) to get me to calm down and "dont;shakes violently; let her ruin;slap across the face; your day!!!" her and i laugh about that now LOL the day matched the proceeding marriage which ended in divorce. tip for all you soon to be brides.. do NOT rely on others to finalize details to make yer wedding less stressful.. do it YOURSELF.. then itll be as you want it to be. regardless of the day being a distaster.. i looked damned hawt and shouldve wound up on the cover of some magazine

What a lovely thing to do for Cyn bella! We decided 2 weeks before going to a small Greek Island on holiday that we would get married there and so apart from getting the necessary paperwork and clothing in time we missed out on so much stress and had a great holiday too! The only people we told were my grandparents and his parents before we left and then had a great big party when we got home! I am positive that Cyns day will have been perfect and very well colour co-ordinated and I am sure that she will spend many, many happily married years! xxx

For the love of God (or whatever deity- insert it here)- DON'T DO IT WOMAN!!!
But if you must do it- here's a mature content toast for you-
Here's to the hole that never heals,
the more you poke it,
the better it feels.
I'm just kidding girlfriends (ok no I'm not)...
Cyn have a great day and don't stress, this day is about you and your man- mostly you of course, and as long as no Runaway Bride stuff happens, everything will go perfectly.
If it doesn't, just think pretty soon you'll be on a beach somewhere drinking fruity drinks and speaking in foreign tongues!!
I want to see some pictures so you better send some when you have time. Wish I could be there to share your day but I will share it anyway- all the way from rainy Chicago!
Love you girl!! Have a great day and strut around being the beautiful knock out that you are!! Don't do it sober if you can help it!
Have a Kumquat Daiquiri for me!! XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Wedding stories are not originally my thing but I can just imagine the excitement and stress of such a day.
Not to mention the ever-present aspect of people trying to cream off the festivities.
Like vagrants, guests who turn up without invitations and with hungry stomachs and thirsty mouths.
Maybe when I get hitched, which will now happen after I'm 57 years old, I'll just have a quiet thing at home with friends I can trust and hope I don't go broke over the wedding.

Cyn and Squire's wedding went great the only thing that was about to disturb it was a small child who's mother couldn't care less what her( it seem to be 3 yr old son )did and that he was half way accross the park around total strangers. On of squire's family members took the child back to his mom while I was busy snapping away for pics.

Don't think either of my marriages are worth talking about...the first was very over the top with about 500 people..i don't know what happened since we took off to Lake Tahoe after it was over to go and see Elvis..1970..
The second one i was nursing a Son and was told by my father in law to be i was getting married..that should have told me to run..LOL..
I'm fine with both since we have children and grandchildren together..but i wasn't meant to marry..just to be a mommy..
Now you and Squire are doing it right...you both seem in Love and are commited to eachother..Congrats tomorrow and Huggs and Love to you both!

cyn will appreciate the setiment of the love and hugs to both their wedding went swimmingly. LOL!!! No problems and the vagrants stayed away thought we did have a little boy who was about to crash the wedding and the mother of the child stayed completely away like she didn't want to have to come get him and let him be our problem I hate people like that.So my best friend Cyn got her Wedding to Squire and I have pics which I will post at a later time and date under photos. LOL!!!!

some times with Cyn focusing on others calamaties helps here to get side tracked with her own stress. Especially if the end up to be somewhat comical calamities.

rotflmao I don't think wedding calamities is what she needs to be hearing to reduce wedding day stress Bella LMAO, its all going to be just fine for all of you. So exciting to be getting married. How special for you to be her best mate and in the center of her day. My own wedding was rather quiet and calm. However I was not. I was knotted and bunched up tight like a ball of rubber bands. In the end even the funny things that happened at the reception (now that is were you really need to worry) is precious memories.

Well the reception is going to be small and at her house so I think that there won't be the worries you get when you hold a big reception. LOL!!! But I will say that I will make sure that she is ok and happy. LOL!!!

The first time I got married, I had to wait until after my oldest was born and my fiance's first divorce was final. So I was in nursing mode on the big day. Part way through the ceremony my milk came in and started spreading a wet mark down the front of my chiffon dress. The JP dropped his 'marriage book' and looked like he was having a heart attack. The dress was red you see and he thought for a mo he was seeing blood spreading over my chest! LOL We got that cleared up and started all over again, when my maid of honor decided it was a good time to go into labour and her water broke all over the Judge's fancy leather shoes! Shall I go on, or do you think that's enough to keep her in stiches until she trips walking up the aisle? ROFL

No actual wedding ceremony calamities, unless you count the fact that I turned up and the Boss has had to live we me ever since! But the disco that we booked for the reception turned up thinking that they were hired to do a children's birthday party!! I thought my wife in the bride's dress might have been a bit of a clue! But their omission caused one or two "interesting" records to be played. Fortunately for them, they did have some adult music on board so the night wasn't wrecked. Wish her well. She sent me an E mail telling me how stressed she is. She'll be fine. Bless her.
