when ever i attended wedding ceremonies i will end up teary eyed or something to that effect and remember my own wedding ..i was civilly married at first then after 3 years after the church wedding and during that time i had already 2 kids ages 2 and 3(boy and girl)and decided to just borrow the wedding gown of my hubby's besfriend's wife( i hadnt gained a pound after 2 deliveries...and luckily we were of the same size and everything...and afterwards a small reception with only close relatives and family and thats includes of course our respective friends..we had atleast a saving on the cost of the wedding gown itself ...and turn out to be alright...what about you guys? did you buy your own wedding gown? or just borrowed? or even rented? which do you prefer then?

I bought my dress. I found a great deal. There was a wedding dress shop that went out of business. She sold all the dresses left to the consignment shop next to her. So the consignment shop had all the dresses REALLY cheap. I went in found 3 dresses to look at. Tried on the first one said no way tried on the second one and that was it. It was 'the dress' I only paid 250 for it plus 50 more for a few alteriations. The dress was in a magizne it was 900 at that place. So I think I did pretty good!

I never had a church wedding ceremony... my husband and i only had a civil wedding ceremony with only two friends present... we did not want to make a lot of fuss because we want to save money... we have not talked about having a church wedding because he is now working abroad... and our marriage life is not that great... despite the fact that we already have a two year old baby...

im shy or embarrassed to reveal this but still i want to share it to everyone..except for the underwear and socks all my pants, barong and undershirt are all borrowed during my wedding at their hometown.I did a lot of savings for us, and the money that save was used after the ceremony on paying for the reception ,atleast it contributed not whole amount but part of it.

Hi vanities, I never had a church wedding. My husband and I got married by civil rites with only family members as witnesses. But we are planning to have it by next year, my husband will be coming home. When that time comes, I would like to have my own wedding gown. My own style. But I would like my gown to be as simple as it can be.
