debt free....

If I were debt free.....I would buy the house of my dreams that I have been trying to buy for the last three months but can't because I can't sell my house and I have too many other bills... It really sucks!!! My husband is the only provider as I have chosen to be a stay-at-home mom and give up my career to raise our four children. No regrets!! Just wish I wasn't in the "Middle Class" category. Not rich enough to get what I want and not poor enough to be GIVEN what I want. I want to go back to work in the worst way, but it truly doesn't pay since MY money would just go to a caregiver. Oh, well.... I guess I will just have to continue to dream...but that house IS truly my dream house. I'm hoping by the grace of God I do sell my house soon and maybe then I will be able to get the house.... We'll see

I feel we're in the same boat regarding your financial status now and just like you, I'm already married. It's been more than five years since we got married and we do have a daughter who's turning three next month. I'm the only one working in the family and we decided not to hire a nanny for our child; instead, my husband takes care of her and stays at home.
I also do have a lot of dreams not only for myself but more for our daughter. It will only take a couple of years from now before she'll be attending classes. We still haven't got our own house and land. We're currently in the process of paying off all our financial obligations from loans and credit card companies.
Hopefully, and God-willing, we'll be able to realize all of our dreams by next year.
